What Water SHould I Drink?

Drinking enough water is crucial in your pursuit of a leaner body and better health. Getting enough water is one challenge the other challenge is knowing what is in the water you are drinking? Well the answer might shock you! This is especially true if you're drinking city or well water. What you think is doing your body good may actually be doing the opposite.

The problem is that city water often contains high levels of chlorine and other chemicals. While well water can be contaminated by run-off and pesticides.

An alternative many people turn to instead is bottled water. However, even this can sometimes be harmful to your body. Aside from the bisphenol A or BPA that leaches from certain plastic bottles, what you get from many bottled waters is highly acidic water. This is not good and can be a contributing factor to ailments, such as:

Premature aging

Clogged colon

Also, many bottled waters are created using the process of reverse osmosis, which results in what's commonly referred to as "dead" water. Instead of supporting your body, drinking this type of water can actually have negative effects on your body's ability to absorb important nutrients.

The best choice of water to enhance health is an alkaline ionized water system that produces pure water that works to restore an individual's pH levels. It removes contaminants, and if it is a high quality unit is a potent anti-oxidant as well. In addition, this water helps to detoxify and to super-hydrate your body which can produce benefits such as:

Increased immunity to disease

Weight loss

Slowing down of the aging process

Increased vitamin and mineral absorption

Improved elasticity of the skin

Detoxification of the body and improved elimination

What’s the moral of this story? Drink enough water. Yes. But consider the type of water you are consuming if you really want to improve your health, achieve your ideal bodyweight and reduce the likelihood of disease in the body.
